Big ideas for small spaces. An enormous Game-of-Thrones style wardrobe literally could not fit anywhere in the house. We sawed the piece in half and turned it inside out! The bottom half was transformed into this vanity, while the remainder now houses a flat-screen TV.
Be bold. We stylized the lighting, brought in bold mirrors, added a luminescent backsplash, and replaced the doors to transform a builders'-grade bathroom into a sensual personal retreat.
Log cabin cachet. The raw-edged granite countertop and large copper vessel enhance the rustic-luxe feel of this log-cabin powder room. The custom-built cabinet features a pull-out stair-step for the little ones.
Doggie dream bath. This antique cabinet was retrofitted for Fido. We used a vintage-style tub faucet with hand-held showerhead and old enamel milk bucket for a sink. (The owners can easily fill the water bowl or hose down Bo.) One special drawer holds a 50-pound bag of dog food, and another pulls out to provide a feeding station for doggie dining.
Loo with a view. With nowhere to build but out, we extended the master bedroom by creating an elegant, sun-filled dressing area and master bath. From the bedroom, the eyes are drawn straight to the window-seat and view of the Brandywine River.
